Project 1 Concept
The Stress Stone is a calming, touch-responsive object designed to promote relaxation through light and sensory interaction. It uses an Arduino microcontroller connected to a pressure sensor that detects when the user squeezes the object. The Arduino processes this input and controls an LED light embedded inside the stone, causing it to emit a soft, calming glow. The outer shell is wrapped in a translucent, squeezable material, such as silicone or foam, allowing comfortable tactile interaction while diffusing the light smoothly. The color of the light will shift subtly to promote stress relief and emotional balance, remaining gentle and not too bright. This concept explores how Arduino-based sensing and color feedback can create a mindful and soothing experience through physical interaction.
